As Director of Product Innovation at Fast Company, I lead product strategy and UX for Fast Company's digital presence. In my other career as a journalist, I've written many articles and essays about design. And I'm currently working on a book about user experience, to be published by Farrar, Strauss and Giroux.
As a journalist, I've covered design for over a decade, and was founding editor of Fast Company's design site, Co.Design. During my tenure, Co.Design won a National Magazine Award.
